If you are interested in a good computer, for God's sake avoid Future Shop. Decide on what you want, and go down to College and Spadina to one of the computer stores. They will fill in all the blanks you need, and put it together for you (no charge!). It will cost you about 80% of FS for the same system (or less if you cut costs where appropriate) and you have someone knowledgeable to go back to if there's any problems.

You will have to do some research about what you want (for example, i7 is probably overkill, but 6770 is probably underkill), but they will make sure everything works together. And you can replace/upgrade any part any time you want.

And you're not stuck with those terrible cases the "gaming" computers at FS come in.
