When I was childless, I would get calls from credit card companies asking if I wanted "balance protector" coverage which would pay off my credit cards in the event of my death. I always had to laugh when I declined and would get asked "What would happen if you died?" Well, I'd be dead, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't care no matter what happened.

lol.  My bank keeps trying to sell me the same insurance on my student loans.  It's hilarious.  They give me the exact same line "What would happen if you died and your estate couldn't pay it?".  The answer of course, Mr. Bank, is that YOU would not get paid.  So maybe you should be buying insurance on my balance, because I don't think I'm buying it for you.
