Nothing wrong with an adult playing video games.

Uh, no. image Grown ass men playing video games is beyond lame; it's pathetic. image

It's completely unfathomable to think that some of my close guy friends --- in the late 30s/early 40s age demographic, married, with children, holding down a great career --- still play, rent and purchase video games. WTF!!! image I shudder at the thought of calling them 'friends'. Yuck. image

I used to play video games such as Pacman, Street Fighter, Mario Bros, etc. back in the mid-1980s when my parents got me the Atari, Amiga and Commodore C64 computers... of course, the socially inept  dweebs that continued to play video games right through adulthood were dorks, nerds and geeks that hardly participated in any outdoor athletics, didn't have a pleasing personality --- nor did they get laid! image

This probably explains why today they look 55, have a wife who's not the least bit attractive or eye-catching and essentially have no ambitious pursuits in life. Sucks to be them. image

When I become a father, I will have to make absolutely sure that none my kids (all sons) don't go anywhere near a video game console after their 12th birthday. image

EDIT / Addendum --- The reason I bumped up this thread is simply 'cuz I went to meet a friend of mine at his suburban house en route to my parents' for Mother's Day... sad to see that his wife was endorsing of her hubby's silly video game addiction... but I'm sure deep down inside she loathes him and cringes at his penchant for video games.
