Maybe they need to consider communities a little further out? I get that it may not be what they want but it seems to me, experience is experience. We have the same problem in law, people don't want to move to smaller communities with the result that a lot of people in rural areas are going to have to drive further for their legal services. I spent a couple years in a smaller centre and loved it. Yes the pay wasn't nearly as high but neither was the cost of living. I could buy a house like those in the Annex for $65K at the time. The guy I was working for probably netted $80-100K a year but lived like a prince. If I could have convinced the Warden to move there, I would have.
