Mm.

Granted, it's been some time since I've paid off my student loans, but in my enlightened opinion, looking back on my storied career, I can't imagine that, provided one is at the start of one's career but gainfully employed in a smaller market, that a telephone call leading to a meeting with a loans officer wouldn't result in some kind of reasonable accommodation. I mean, fundamentally, the bank wants to get paid and collect on its interest, and if that means dealing with a loan with smaller payments for a longer amount of time (and interest), I have a tough time believing that the bank would say no.

And though it's been a while, as a first year PI lawyer at a small Toronto shop, my income for the first few years was exceptionally modest by any town's standard, and it was from this exceptionally modest income that I had to start repaying my loans. Stupid me should've made that same phone call.

Also, people who take my sentences and place them in their signature:  BB, what is wrong with you?  IIRC, those douchebags epeeist and Rusto did the same.  WTF?
