This is not weird, the father wants his son to go the the newer catholic high school that has better sports facilities and is closer to home. However, he does not want his son to have to study religion or be left at home alone until 10am.

Solution - sue the school board saying that his son is not getting equal access.

This is not weird, this is stupid and I hope it gets dismissed with costs against the family. If he wants his son to get an OSSD without religious content then sent him to a public highschool.

If he has an issue with the funding for Catholic Schools in Ontario then that is another issue, but that is not what his problem is he is not testing a system he is trying to work the system.
